Really great place, Sue is a wonderful cook. I haven’t physically stayed here or eaten here ‘first hand’ so to speak. I always find something in the food waste here , always useful if the Agricultural Inn is shut or not serving food. Brian gets a bit annoyed if he catches me going through the bins or trying to catch 40 winks on his grounds.

Sue is a fantastic host and wonderful cook, staying in the beautiful and comfortable rooms

My brothers and I had a wonderfull experience with Sue and Brian Satchell at theire house, having been at the very place before ourselfs in 1956/59. The journey to barnhill Cottage was in remembrance of that time. Both Satchells made our short stay in real highlight.of our trip to the UK. Thank you and keep as you are!! The former rating I had send out, stopped at Number 4 Star - this was absolutely wrong -!!
